The OpenStack Self-healing SIG is an OpenStack SIG with the mission to help coordinate thehe use and development of several OpenStack projects which can be combined in various ways to manage OpenStack infrastructure in a policy-driven fashion, reacting to failures and other events by automatically healing services. Barometer and Self-healing SIG:
OPNFV's Barometer project would be a key component in helping realize self healing goals using the monitoring interfaces provided using Collectd.
Active coordination between the SIG and Barometer would help operator's self-healing goals and drive towards realization of 5 9's of service assurance.
