This is to certify that Girish Lingappa successfully completed their Student Volunteer Project under the Linux Foundation Networking from 01-May-2021 till 31-May-2021. Girish Lingappa worked on Survey of Existing works on AI/ML for NFV,
Girish's work was mentored by Sridhar Rao.
A brief description of the specific project Girish Lingappa worked on is given below:
Girish Lingappa prepared a near-exhaustive survey of relevant work in the form of published papers on Artificial Intelligence applied to Networking in general and NFV in particular. The survey contains problem-description, ML-technique and data-used for each publication, and was implemented in an Excel spread sheet for easy filtering and searching. The survey also included the open-source ML-frameworks that could be used by Anuket. The LFN End User Advisory Group (EUAG) has already recognized the value of this contribution, as it provides input for their AI whitepaper.
Girish Lingappa has completed the project successfully and met all the established project objectives.
The mentor was satisfied with Girish Lingappa's motivation and performance throughout the duration of the project.
