Release process principles

  • A project or workstream may slip an internal release milestone with TSC approval
  • A project or workstream may be included in the major release after the scheduled release, with TSC approval
    • The project must declare for the Supplemental  Release (M7, typically 2 to 4 weeks late) prior to the  M3 date.

  • No labels

  1. I don't see the point of M4:

    • it doesn't make so much sens from an RC pov as it has been well verified since RA1 switched to Train.
    • even if both RI doesn't conform with the Kubernetes and OpenStack versions asked by RAs, the related former RCs are continuously executed in the RI daily jobs as part of RI verification.

Could we also add the milestone for review of the marketing message by TSC as the previous release process?

Globally, I would rather like to see Jenkins milestones than JIRA milestones.

By the past, even if it was a very low criteria, the OPNFV Installers were asked to pass Healthcheck.

  2. And JIRA doesn't mean anything for the CNTT workstreams (GitHub issues)
