- VSPERF did comparison between ELK stack and collectd
- There might be some recommendations/feedback from this comparison
- Action(Sunku): reach out to Sridhar to discuss recommendations, either in VSPERF meeting, Barometer meeting or over e-mail.
- One-click install/collectd-community update
- 6.0 update, to track which plugins are building against 6.0, Florian has compiled a spreadsheet.
- Majority of the core daemon update has been done for 6.0
- Collectd community are open to hosting some contrib/ directory to host some cookbooks for config and scripts for compiling the dependencies for individual plugins.
- This might include include something like the one-click install that we have in Barometer, and potentially migrating some core/generic part of this to collectd.
