RI2 Update

David McBride

Long discussion about the issues that blocking the completion of the testing of the RC/RI.  There is some ambiguity about validating RI2, so need to fix criteria before finalizing the testing systems.  The TSC should weigh in on the requirements.  Moving this to the next release to resolve. Per Cedric Ollivier Kuberef didn't fail in any criteria asked for by TSC.

No testing of Workload on-boarding yet - need more discussion on this.

  •  Doc Conversion

When is the best time for conversion from MD to RST? quiet time..

  • there may need to be some merger by hand... manual
    • move RST versions into Integration branch
    • then merge integration branch to master (after conversion to RST)
  • OR, skip Integration branch, and don't need a silent period.
  • Start with RM - ?
  • Experiments might help determine the best direction
  • If RTD build is not broken - then ok? this might be a way to test
  • Everyone should close out their items this week.

Cedric Ollivier Jenkins verification job falsy votes -1 on any Releng job verification

We do know the root cause and why it occurs (global jjb) as the latest changes are trivial. We miss lots of debug data and the job seems very obsolete (see pip version) and mix abstract and concrete dependencies. Trevor Bramwell looking into this.  Sandra Jackson David McBride

EUAG report is that the group is going through a reevaluation about its charter and purpose.  Stay tuned.
